THE ASK
In partnership with their agency of record, Matato, Krusteaz Professional wanted to raise awareness of Krusteaz Professional Ready to Bake Batters through interviews with local food service operators (head chefs, culinary directors, and other vital people in the kitchen!) conducted by food-focused influencers. Layering into a multi-channel campaign led by Matato and leveraging the reach and audience of carefully selected influencers, Foodie Tribe aimed to create a compelling narrative that positioned Krusteaz Professional Ready to Bake Batters as the perfect addition to every foodservice operator's business, regardless of cuisine-type, location, or current menu offerings.
WHAT WE DID
Foodie Tribe collaborated with and managed 11 influencers to meet with Krusteaz-provided or influencer-selected foodservice operators and conduct interviews focusing on the operators’ experiences, business, and how Krusteaz Professional Ready to Bake Batters improved their restaurants’ menu and the operators’ dessert-making experience. The interviews were based on a predetermined set of topics and questions designed to highlight the operator’s personal, business, and Krusteaz Professional Ready to Bake Batter experiences. The influencer's content focused on sharing their operator interview through an Instagram Reel to spread awareness of the Krusteaz Professional Ready to Bake Batters among their audience. These 11 creators created a combined 17 pieces of content for this campaign.
This campaign resulted in one of the operators genuinely enjoying the product so much so that they decided to make the switch to Krusteaz Professional Ready to Bake batters and incorporate the product into their daily menu. The operator was connected with a Krusteaz sales representative and is now a Krusteaz customer! Beyond this major win, the campaign also garnered significant attention with 570.77K impressions and a reach of 431.3K. The campaign's engagement was strong, generating 11.79K interactions and an engagement rate of 2.07%. These numbers reflect the campaign's effectiveness in driving awareness and interest, while also leading to a direct business conversion and long-term partnership with a new operator.
