Community Manager (Contractor)
Job Type: Hourly Contractor
Rate of Pay: $22-25 per hour based on experience
Expected Time Commitment: 15 - 25 hours per week
Supervisor: Senior Social Media Manager
Location: Remote, US-Based // Charlotte, NC or South Florida a bonus!
The Community Manager is a key player on our team, responsible for the vibrant and dynamic interaction on our clients' social media channels. This role requires a passionate and proactive individual who loves the world of social media, enjoys engaging with audiences, and can handle the day-to-day management of multiple social platforms with flair. Our ideal candidate is an excellent and creative copywriter, brings creative energy to every task, and is excited to be the online voice of various brands.
Responsibilities
Manage daily social media activities, including responding to comments and direct messages in a timely manner
Schedule and post content across various social media platforms
Act as the main point of contact between brands and their online communities, fostering a positive and engaging presence
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement
Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Manager to ensure community management is aligned with brand strategies and goals
Provide insights and reports on community engagement, feedback, and social media performance
Assist in developing and analyzing monthly social media reports
Assist with sourcing new influencers for influencer marketing campaigns
Experience & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
1-3 years of experience in social media management, community management, or a similar role
Proficiency with all the major social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok
Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout, or Later
Experience with direct-to-consumer brands and social media advertising
Must be based in the US and fluent in English, with strong creative writing skills
