Community Manager
Full-Time | Remote (East Coast Hours)
Foodie Tribe is a social media and influencer marketing agency built exclusively for food and beverage brands. Since 2016, we've partnered with national and emerging brands to help them show up with intention on social — creating content that's trend-aware, visually compelling, and actually performs. Our clients include brands like Boar's Head, Fresh Del Monte, and DoorDash, and our team of 13 operates fully remote with a strong emphasis on collaboration, creativity, and getting things done.
We're growing our team and looking for a Community Manager who genuinely loves talking to people online and knows how to represent a brand's voice across comments, DMs, and stories, every single day.
About the Community Manager Role
This role is the day-to-day voice of our client brands on social media. You'll respond to comments and DMs, engage with trending content, schedule and post across platforms, and keep every account active, on-brand, and on-time. You'll work closely with our Social Media Managers and pull from monthly content calendars in Airtable to know exactly what's going out and when. This role also touches reporting, so you're comfortable pulling analytics and keeping things organized.
This role reports to our Sr. Social Media Strategist, Team Lead.
What You’ll Doing
Community Management
Respond to comments and DMs across client accounts in each brand’s unique voice
Engage outwardly on social media to build a community and join relevant conversations
Monitor comments across all clients’ social media accounts
Like, comment on, and repost tagged stories and posts
Follow relevant, similar-audience accounts to help grow each brand's reach
Content Calendar & Posting
Schedule social media content for each client in Later
Manually post content as needed. You will be required to log in to client’s accounts on the social media apps.
What We’re Looking For
1-3 years of experience in community management, social media, or customer-facing brand communication
Highly organized — you can manage multiple brand voices and calendars without mixing them up
Detail-oriented to a fault — a typo in a client's caption keeps you up at night
Strong writing skills — you know how to sound professional, warm, and on-brand at the same time
Social media obsessed - you live and breathe social media and know what’s trendy and how to join the conversation
Comfortable working across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and familiar with scheduling tools like Later
Experience with Canva, or willingness to learn our templates and workflow quickly
Bonus: experience with Meta Business Suite, Airtable, Box, or agency-style client account work
This is the ideal role for you if:
You can spot a typo from a mile away, and it physically pains you to leave it unfixed.
You've got opinions about which brands do community management right (Chipotle's replies live in your head rent-free).
Rude commenters don't ruin your day. You know they're mad at the brand, not at you, and you move on.
You love the chase of finding the perfect trending sound or comment section to jump into.
Juggling several different brand voices in one day sounds fun, not stressful, to you.
You've spent an embarrassing amount of time watching food content. (Same, honestly.)
Do we need to mention this? — You're a huge foodie!
