Meet Nadia, from @foodmymuse
How long have you been a part of Foodie Tribe?
2 years.
How did you get into influencer marketing?
When I left the restaurant industry and changed careers, I started missing creating food so I started Food My Muse as a hobby. It started growing and I kept improving my photography. When I got my first gifted product, I was hooked and I realized this is something I wanted to do as a business. I realized there was a real need for influencer marketing and I wanted to be a part of it, my own way. I have always stayed true to how it all began, and that is only working with brands and products I personally use and stand behind.
What has been your favorite Foodie Tribe campaign that you've worked on and why?
I loved the Sonoma Cutrer campaign because I got to do some wine pairing.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I used to be a professional chef who did a lot of wine pairings and had to talk/cook in front of guests at some points. I am completely self taught and I love it. I love eating as much as I love cooking!
Meet Cathy, from @whatshouldimakefor
How long have you been a part of Foodie Tribe?
3 years.
How did you get into influencer marketing?
After culinary school, working in restaurants, and owning my own baking business, I decided to start a food blog to share recipes and tips about the tools and techniques that I rely on to navigate the kitchen. Not surprisingly, the recipe piece comes much easier than the marketing, but I enjoy the challenge.
What has been your favorite Foodie Tribe campaign that you've worked on and why?
I really enjoyed working with Atkins Ranch and Beef + Lamb NZ to create lamb tacos with a fall spin and I especially loved creating a Mexican Salad in a Jar with Litehouse Foods. My family loves Mexican food and this was a great way to incorporate tons of veggies without compromising on flavor.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
Outside of the kitchen, seeing live music is my passion. I really miss seeing my favorite bands in venues around New York City as we wait out this crisis. Can't wait to get back into the city and support my favorite restaurants and bars that have been so greatly impacted during this time.
Anything else you want to add?
I feel fortunate to be a food blogger where I can be creative in crafting new recipes, being my own boss, constantly challenging myself to learn new things, and doing it all in my sweats!
