Choosing Influencers For Your Influencer Marketing Campaign
How do you know which influencers are best to partner with? While there are multiple aspects to consider, we’ve rounded up our top five picks.
Read these tips below and keep them in mind for your next influencer marketing campaign!
Think local. Regardless of whether your restaurant, or product can be found in multiple locations, it’s always great to include local influencers in your campaign. They are the ones who will yield more engagement and drive more foot traffic to your restaurant, or store. Plus, since they live in the city you are in, they know the area well and will be able to create content that intertwines the location and your restaurant and/or product!
Host Events. Influencers love attending events - especially when they are free. Are you adding something new to your menu? Launching a new product? Giving influencers a complimentary opportunity to try things out before the general public does, gives them extra time to hype it up!
Do Giveaways. Everyone loves winning something, right? Right! Create a campaign where your influencer can raffle something off to their followers. The influencer will spread the word, their content will get more engagement, you will gain followers, and it will resonate better with the influencer’s followers because it will be of value to them.
Consider Aesthetic. When deciding which influencers to partner with, it’s also important to consider their aesthetic and if it will mesh well with yours. If your branding is more reserve and classic, you don’t want to work with an influencer who posts out-of-box content. Think about whose style will work well with your brand and vice versa.
Create Relationships. If there are influencers that you have previously enjoyed working with, work with them again! Just like you, influencers are looking to create lasting relationships with brands. You both have the same goal: to cultivate your relationship with your followers to create a community and earn trust. Long-term influencer relationships is something both you and the influencer can benefit from. Learn more about it here.
