How long have you been a part of Foodie Tribe?

WOW! I think it has almost been a year, where has the time gone?!

How did you get into influencer marketing?

It sort of happened. As I was growing out my page, I soon realized that besides promoting restaurants I loved being able to share with my audience a new snack brand, share information about a small local beverage company, etc. and from that point it just continued. I really believe social media, especially accounts that personally engage with their audience, is a great way for brands to connect. One of my favorite aspects about my page is when I post and receive messages such as “trying this recipe out today” or “I went to the store to buy those chips,” etc. to really see that people are connecting with my recommendations.

What has been your favorite Foodie Tribe campaign that you've worked on and why?

I recently did a campaign for the Hard Rock where I promoted one of their dining experiences alongside a comedy show. Personally, I loved this campaign for many reasons. One of them being that the hotel is right in my backyard so promoting the property on my page was content I had been wanting to put out. Overall, I was able to show the hotel in a light my audience may have not been aware of, providing them with coverage on not only food but a lifestyle element. Plus, the comedy show was great!

How long have you been a part of Foodie Tribe?

Two years.

How did you get into influencer marketing?

We started our Instagram as a hobby, but eventually, restaurants and brands started reaching out to us for collaborations. From there, we realized we have a desire to connect with people on a real level and help businesses in any way we can! Now, our mission is to connect food influencers and support local businesses by telling stories and creating brand awareness on social media. We do this through social gatherings, community service, and helping build a community of people who are passionate about food and want to support our local community.

What has been your favorite Foodie Tribe campaign that you've worked on and why?

We loved the McDonalds campaign because it was a fun campaign and it was a wonderful experience to work with one of America's largest brands. A campaign like this let us connect with a group of supportive foodies who have a similar passion for food photography.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

Helen is from the Bay Area and Vincent is from New York City. We met in college and have been together for 9 years.
